Sandra:

Firstly, I wanted to thank you for an excellent cookery course last Saturday. I haven't been on a cookery course before, so wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleased to say it was good fun and very informative, with the bonus of 7 delicious dishes to eat thoughout!!

You'll be pleased to know that I have successfully cooked a number of dishes already; Spicy Chicken (kung Pao), Pineapple Prawn, Special fried rice and Monks ribs. This weekend we might be have the Beef with black bean sauce and Pot Stickers too!

Once again, thanks for a fun day.

Lucy:

I just wanted to let you know that Sean had such a great time on your course on Saturday, he has been talking about it constantly all weekend!!

Thank you for making it so enjoyable and informative...and I got a night off from cooking on Saturday as he showed off his new skills! We shall definately recommend you to our friends.

Lindsey Beckett (Reading):

Thank you for a brilliant cookery day, I so enjoyed it and learnt so much. I ended the day fired with enthusiasm and a new confidence in cooking Chinese dishes. Your enthusiasm, calm manner and beautiful kitchen created the perfect relaxed atmosphere for learning. Mango Prawns has become a firm family favourite and I now have several new recipes I feel confident to use when entertaining friends. Thank you for a great cooking experience.

Mike Tomlinson (London):

I met Hannah Hayes for the first time on the 15th March 2008. I had been given a Christmas present of a "One Day Chinese Cookery Course". Five newcomers to Chinese cookery met at a Chinese supermarket just outside Reading and Hannah introduced us to the wonders of the emporium and its secrets.

After about an hour getting the feel of this new cuisine, we went to her home in Pangbourne. She immediately put us at our ease with coffee and iced water and we all sat around the work surface in her kitchen in the overalls provided.

During the day, we chopped, mixed and prepared for her while she explained the methods she employed to make 6 or 7 dishes including Peking Duck. She made them before our eyes and we then devoured them with great enthusiasm. They were, without exception, delicious and since that day I have made her Spare Ribs 4 times and her Chinese broccoli twice. I intend to try all the other recipes during the next few weeks. Recipe details were helpfully provided by Hannah in a folder for each of us to take away.

You will enjoy the experience which helped me to de-mystify this cuisine.
